Privacy Policy

Effective September 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DesignThrill ("DesignThrill," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, dashboard, and design subscription service (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account information. Name, email address, and password (handled via our authentication provider) when you create an account.

Billing information. When you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment card details directly. We do not store your full card number ourselves — we retain only limited billing metadata (such as your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, plan, and the last four digits and expiration of your card) needed to manage your subscription.

Request content. The design requests, files, comments, and feedback you submit through your dashboard and project board.

Usage data. Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically when you use the Service.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including delivering your design requests;
  • To process payments and manage your subscription;
  • To send transactional emails (e.g. welcome, billing, pause/resume, and delivery notifications);
  • To respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account;
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues;
  • To improve and develop the Service.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the third-party service providers necessary to operate the Service, each acting under their own privacy and security obligations:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing;
  • Supabase — account authentication and application database;
  • Trello — your dedicated project/request board;
  • Resend — delivery of transactional emails;
  • Vercel — application hosting and infrastructure.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you as required by law.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and billing information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Design request history and delivered work are retained on your account for your future reference unless you request deletion.

5. Your Choices

You can review and update your account information at any time from your dashboard. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at designthrill.co@gmail.com, subject to any records we are required to retain by law (e.g. billing records).

6. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reliance on PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe so that we never handle or store full card numbers ourselves. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Contact
